The company undertakes a wide range of medical, anatomical, veterinary, scientific based illustration commissions for clients across the world. Joanna's UK Medical Illustrators Training
Joanna initially graduated with a B.T.E.C in art in Natural History Illustration from Bournemouth and Poole College in 1990 followed by an honours degree in Scientific and Medical Illustration, from Middlesex University, London in 1995. Joanna decided that you wanted to be a fully qualified medical illustrator in the UK so went on to study further with the Medical Artists' Association of Great Britian, studying anatomy and art.
Having been taught anatomy by surgeons and physicians from the Medical Artists' Education Trust of Great Britain Joanna has become an accredited Registered Medical Illustration Practitioner in the UK, also leading to a professional membership of the Medical Artists' Association Great Britain.

Further Information on being Medical Illustrator in the UK
In the UK medical illustrators can receive the necessary professional training through the Medical Artist's Education Trust of Great Britain (MAET). The selection of medical illustrators to participate in this course is very rigorous and requires the illustrator to have already undertaken relevant graduate level training, although not necessarily in the UK.
