DrawMd Project - images for innovative iPad Apps
It seems that everyone is talking about Apps these days, even the Apprentice on BBC TV had an episode around the creation of an App. We have been fortunate to work with DrawMD, a company in the US developing innovative Apps for use by clinicians.
Their Apps allow doctors to record and show individual patient treatment information on the Apple iPad. They have a range of Apps for different clinical areas. Each one allows the clinician to set up a patient file and then record on a base illustration information in a very visual way. The App is proving very popular as you can see from the ratings it has been given by users on the Apple App store.
The Apps that DrawMD have built are very innovative and designed to help clinicians communicate with patients. Not only do the Apps have the ability to draw and write on the base illustrations but the clinician can even email the anotated illustrations direct to the patient or another doctor.
Joanna and the Medical-Artist.com team have been working with the DrawMD team to provide the illustrations that are the visual foundation for their Apps. It has been very interesting working on this project and put's us in a great position to help our other clients who may be thinking about Apps for their business - obviously ones which aren't going to compete with DrawMDs!
