Linear Flash® Medical Animation Examples

These are medical animations of liposome's as they dissolve in the skin layers. The animations were commissioned by a skin care product website to communicate to potential clients the product's mode of action.

Their requirement was for an illustration and animation to demonstrate the transdermal delivery of liposomes, and how active ingredient delivery can vary from product to product. This is because a liposome is a vesicle made out of the same material as a cell membrane. Liposomes can be filled with drugs and are used to deliver products into the skin. in this case, antioxidants, moisturisers, and vitamins plus calming and healing properties from turmeric, sandlewood, basil, neem and jasmine. The two different liposome actions are shown in the Flash based medical animations for the two different products act as they enter the skin and gradually dissolve through the epidermis and dermis, some more succesfully than others.
