At Medical-Artist.com we donate 1% of our entire turnover to environmental causes each year as we are part of the 1% for the Planet Organisation. We are very happy to be supporting the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation with our first donation since joining the 1% for the Planet movement. David Shepherd is an internationally famous artist who has spent the majority of his life campaigning for environmental causes. Joanna has admired his work for many years and has attended previous events.
Joanna has been a long time supporter of DSWF and therefore they were a natural choice for the donation. Joanna & Tim were invited to David’s house, personal studio and gallery to present him with the cheque personally. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and it was great to learn more about the work of DSWF, especially protection of the tiger and the anti-poaching projects that they fund. If you are a 1% for the Planet member or are considering becoming one the DSWF is a very worthy recipient of your donations.
