Breast Implant Surgery Medical Illustrations
Our Experience Creating Breast Anatomy Medical Illustrations
In order to work as a professional medical artist it is key that as artists we have a knowledge not only in producing the artwork but to have received the necessary anatomy training. This was completed in the UK with the Medical Artists’ Education Trust where we had access to cased specimens and were taught anatomy and could refer to cadavers whilst studying at the Royal College of Surgeons’ of England, London.
We are also members of the Academy of Healthcare Sciences, Institute of Medical Illustrators, Medical Artists’ Association of GB.
As a result of passing the qualification lead medical artist Joanna has been accepted as a Medical Illustration Practitioner. This level of training means the ability to be able to converse with medical professionals and not only understand but convey the right information to the target audience.
If you are writing a medical paper, or have a new surgerical technique or want to demonstrate a new medical device or product that is being brought to market, then contact Joanna and her team to commission your own unique set of medical illustrations that will ensure your paper will be noticed by your peers.
