Medical-artist.com annpainted dog portrait by dog conservationually donates one percent of total turnover to charities that help with the conservation of wildlife as part of our One Percent for the Planet Commitment, and preservation of the worlds natural habitat. This year so far we have donated to the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DWSF) for a particular cause to help the Painted Dogs Appeal.

The painted dog is one of Africas most endangered animals and one of its least understood. It lives in complex social groups with family very much at its heart.

DSWF has been able to change the perception of the painted dog and to bring the message alive to the many hundreds of young Africans who pass through the DSWF funded residential bush camp in Zimbabwe each year.

logo-ol-pejeta-smWe have also contributed to an auction being held by the Ol Pejeta Black Rhino Sanctuary by donating a print of one of Joanna’s pieces of art of a young impala. As a non-profit organisation they rely heavily on the generosity of the general public and businesses to continue their efforts to protect the rhino at Ol Pejeta. The auction will take place at the beginning of May for ten days; held internationally through eBay in a similar way to The Independents Elephant Appeal Auction over Christmas.
