All images and content on this website are protected by UK and international copyright law and may not be downloaded, copied, reproduced or altered in anyway without the explicit written permission of the copyright holder. By visiting this website you agree to be bound by these terms.
Any breaches of copyright will be pursued within the full extent of the law by the respective copyright owners. Please respect the copyright of the images and text on this website and do not useany material without permission.
Using / Licensing Images shown on this Website
If you wish to use an image on this website for commercial or other purposes please contact tim@medical-artist.com with the following information:
- Your name and the organization you represent (if applicable)
- Your contact details, including daytime telephone number and email address
- Description of the image(s) you wish to use
- The page URL that the image appears on
- What you wish to use the image for, ie for a website, printed brochure, patient information etc. Please be as descriptive as possible and include the country or region that you wish to use the image in and the period you wish to use the image for.
We will endeavour to respond to your request to license the use of the image(s) within 3 working days. In our response we will inform you whether the image is available for you to license its use (please note many images are not available for licensing), if it is available for licensing we will inform you of the cost to you for the use of the requested illustrations. Upon our receipt of payment you will then be granted permission to use the image(s) for the stated purpose only. Under no circumstances should you use any image before receiving the written permission to do so.

Breach of Copyright and Failure to Obtain Permission
Any company, organization or individual who uses an image from this website without written permission, unless covered by the two exceptions below, will be deemed to have agreed to pay a licensing cost of a minimum of £1000 (GBP) per image per month, or per image per application, whichever is greater and agrees to pay the full legal and incurred costs of recovery of any licensing fees due. The copyright holders reserve the right to any legal remedy available to them in protecting their rights under law.
