New Project Win.
We have been working for Eric Franklin since the beginning of 2016 and we have just been commissioned to complete a further 40 medical illustrations. This will be on top of the existing illustrations we have already done.
Eric Franklin is the founder of the Franklin Method which teaches a Dynamic Neuro-cognitive Imagery™, teaching anatomical embodiment and educational skills to create lasting positive change in a person’s body and mind. Eric teaches all over the world having written large numbers of books and created videos about his methods. Eric created the Eric Franklin Method over 25 years ago, first teaching in Switzerland, Germany and Austria and further in the USA, China, Japan and many other countries. He earned his BS from the University of Zurich and his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Eric teaches at universities and schools throughout the world including the Juilliard School in New York, Rutgers University, the University of Vienna, the Royal Ballet School and the Laban Center in London. He has taught Beyonce’s & Celine Dion’s world tour dance companies. In 1998 he introduced the first dance conditioning methodology to mainland China
Having authored over 21 books Eric is always in need for medical illustrations that convey is own concepts and his in depth knowledge of anatomy concerning the body during movement and exercise. Many of our illustrations for example show how fascia and muscle work beneath the skin in particular how the fascia connective tissue stabilises, encloses, and separates the muscles and other internal organs. We have been required to create many illustrations of yoga positions adding the anatomy of muscle and organs whilst in movement.
Project Goals – Medical Illustrations for Book Publishing and Marketing
The goal with this next set of 40 illustrations will be to keep the style consistent, to include our anatomical accuracy and continue to provide unique illustrations for Eric as he uses them for his teaching classes, for his books and for his website.
We have settled into a seamless work pattern with Eric where we provide 2 illustrations per week on a rolling basis. Eric likes use of colour and we have created a style specifically for Eric including medical comic illustrations. Eric is an extremely nice client to work for and we are looking forward to an even longer collaboration with him.
