CareCloud are a US based company and their goal to transform patient and healthcare experience with the provision of a cloud-based system. A system that is the building of a digital community that can connect health providers to each other, enabling them to transfer, share and access electronic patient health records, conduct referrals, and even compare performance analytics quickly, conveniently and securely by using one data system.

Project Brief were chosen to provide the medical illustrations for this new system ranging from Reproduction, ENT, Orthopedics (US spelling), the Nose, Cardiology, Urology and the Stomach; because of the fact we had already been providing quality medical artwork for other clients for software packages such as the App for drawMD and animation for video prescriptions for healthEworks.

Approached by CareCloud in the summer of 2012, our next step was to collectively devise a range of illustrations across a number of medical fields that would be most useful to visually demonstrate to the patient items such as procedures, treatment, pathology, diagnosis and anatomy. The purpose of an electronic health record to use the medical illustrations to encourage patient engagement and be used by healthcare professionals as a visual educational tool.
