Lesmar are a marketing and an international promotional products supplier based in St.Albans in the UK.

Lesmar provide a full marketing service from initial creative ideas and designs suppling a diverse range of promotional products to corporate firms across the globe. For items such as electronic gadgets, giveaways, stationery, drinkware, POS materials, clothing, sports merchandise and during 2010 they were also supplying Doctor to Patient flip charts and guides.

Covering a range of anatomy and conditions such as eczema, skin, DVT, rheumatoid arthritis, HIV, our task was to create bespoke medical illustrations to be used for the Doctor to Patient flip charts and guides.

Project Detail

The project requirement were to create a large number of medical illustrations. The illustrations were going to be used as printed patient education, promotional, health education, as doctor to patient flip charts, in order to support written text and to also be visual aids. To help explain complex medical subjects.

We were supplied with a brief so that we could draw drafts of the proposed anatomy.  The illustrations needed to be medically accurate and also appeal to the range of audiences that would be using them. The illustrations were used in poster format, as a flip chart that would stay on a GP’s or surgeons desk ready for use, as other promotional products.
